Project Case
24,000 BPH Bottled Water Production Line Shipped to Ethiopia
Ethiopia
This 24,000 BPH bottled water line was built for a repeat customer in Ethiopia. The customer had purchased a 12,000 BPH water filling line from HZM in 2017 and later found that the existing capacity could no longer meet local market demand.
The expansion project moved from equipment configuration and plant-layout confirmation through financing, manufacturing, inspection and shipment. It demonstrates how HZM supports customers as production requirements grow.

Expansion Based on Existing Operation
The customer’s earlier 12,000 BPH line provided real operating experience before the second order. After two years of development, the business needed more output and chose a 24,000 BPH replacement or expansion line.
Using an existing supplier can simplify communication, but the new capacity still requires fresh utility, layout and downstream checks.
Configuration and New-Plant Layout
HZM and the customer confirmed the equipment configuration and final layout for the new plant. This step defines machine positions, line direction, conveyor route, operator access and material movement before manufacturing is complete.
A layout review also checks whether the factory can support blow molding air, treated water, drainage, packaging-material storage and finished-product handling at the higher output.
Manufacturing and Pre-Shipment Inspection
After receipt of the agreed letter-of-credit payment in August 2020, HZM departments coordinated manufacturing and factory commissioning to the project schedule. The customer inspected the machinery and accepted it before shipment.
Pre-shipment testing reduces risk by identifying mechanical, electrical or change-part issues while the equipment remains at the manufacturing site.
Line Technology
The project includes a full-servo blow molding machine with changeable-pitch technology plus filling, labeling and packing machinery. These stages must be capacity-balanced to sustain 24,000 BPH as finished, conforming product.
For repeat customers, the new line can also build on maintenance and operator knowledge developed with the earlier installation.
What This Project Demonstrates
This project demonstrates long-term customer cooperation and a structured capacity-expansion process. HZM supported layout, configuration, manufacturing, inspection and international delivery for a producer moving from 12,000 to 24,000 BPH.
It also provides a practical SEO case study based on verified history: customer country, earlier capacity, new capacity and production scope are all documented in the original record.
When an existing plant doubles capacity, the owner should recheck water treatment, high-pressure air, electrical load, drainage, packaging-material logistics and warehouse space. Equipment that supported the original 12,000 BPH operation may not have enough reserve for the 24,000 BPH line, even when the new filler itself is correctly sized.
For a related configuration, review HZM’s automatic bottle blowing equipment for water lines. A project proposal should always be confirmed against the actual product, package, utilities, layout and required output.
