Water Filling Machine

HZM delivered an RXGF50-50-15 water filling machine to a customer in Russia. Before ordering, the customer reviewed operating machines and spoke with HZM users in the Russian market, then confirmed the equipment based on the observed performance and project requirements.

The selected machine was configured for two bottle volumes and two cap styles, giving the customer flexibility across standard and sports-cap bottled-water products.

Bottle and Closure Requirements

The machine was specified for 500 ml and 1,500 ml bottles. It also supports normal screw caps and sports caps, which require compatible cap sorting, delivery, placement and closing parts.

A format matrix should identify the change parts and settings for each bottle-and-cap combination. A cap change is not only a control recipe; the physical handling path must also be verified.

The RXGF configuration integrates rinsing, filling and capping in a rotary machine. Container transfers between these stages are synchronized to reduce open handling and create a compact production footprint.

Actual output depends on bottle size, filling conditions, cap type and downstream equipment. Acceptance should count saleable bottles for the customer’s commercial formats.

CIP Requirement

The customer requested CIP capability for the filling machine. A useful CIP design provides a defined route for cleaning solution through the product-contact circuit, with suitable flow, temperature, chemical concentration and return conditions.

The plant still needs an operating procedure for connection, sequence, rinsing and verification. “CIP equipped” does not remove the need to validate cleaning for the actual water and production environment.

Reference Checks Before Purchase

The Russian customer evaluated machines in operation and communicated with existing HZM customers. Reference checks can reveal practical information about changeovers, maintenance, spare parts and service response that is difficult to learn from a catalogue.

Using local-market references also helps the buyer understand import, installation and operating conditions similar to its own.

Installation and Training Plan

HZM planned to send experienced engineers to the customer’s factory for installation, commissioning and operator training. Site work would confirm utilities, alignment, bottle handling, cap performance and cleaning functions under production conditions.

Training should cover safe operation, sanitation, format change, routine maintenance and common alarms so the customer’s team can maintain a stable baseline.

What This Project Demonstrates

This Russia delivery demonstrates customized bottle and cap handling, CIP integration and the role of reference projects in an international buying decision. It also shows HZM’s service scope extending into installation and operator handover.

For a similar two-format project, the acceptance protocol should run both bottle sizes and both cap styles. It should record changeover time, fill results, cap application and cleaning functions so that versatility is demonstrated with the actual commercial materials instead of inferred from an equipment brochure.
