The fully automatic sterilization pot is a precision device that utilizes the high heat resistance of various bacteria in food for high-temperature and high-pressure sterilization. Each component of this sophisticated sterilization equipment works in close coordination, making them indispensable. Therefore, careful selection is necessary when purchasing a sterilization pot.

  1. Temperature Control Precision and Uniform Heat Distribution
    • If strict temperature control is required, especially for export products where uniform heat distribution is crucial, it is advisable to prioritize the selection of computerized fully automatic sterilization pots. While the temperature and pressure control of computerized semi-automatic sterilization pots are similar to those of fully automatic ones, their price is only one-third of the latter. For products with less stringent requirements, electric semi-automatic sterilization pots can be considered. Manual sterilization pots, on the other hand, present challenges in sterilization, temperature, and pressure control, which are manually operated, making it difficult to maintain the appearance of food products and leading to increased swelling and breakage rates.
  2. Requirements for Gas-filled Packaging or Stringent Appearance
    • For products packaged with gas or with stringent appearance requirements, computerized fully automatic or computerized semi-automatic sterilization pots should be selected.
  3. Packaging Material is Glass Bottles or Tinplate
    • For packaging materials such as glass bottles or tinplate, which require high-speed heating and cooling, double-layer sterilization pots should be avoided.
  4. From an Energy-saving and Environmentally Friendly Perspective
    • Considering energy conservation, double-layer sterilization pots can be chosen. These pots feature a hot water tank on top and a processing tank below, allowing the reuse of hot water in the upper tank, which can save a significant amount of steam and is suitable for food production enterprises with a daily output exceeding 10 tons.
  5. Small Production Capacity or No Boiler
    • For small production capacities or when there is no boiler available, electric-steam dual-use sterilization pots can be considered. These pots generate steam through electric heating in the lower tank, while the upper tank is used for sterilization.
  6. High Product Viscosity
    • In cases where the product has high viscosity and requires rotation during the sterilization process, a rotating sterilization pot should be selected.
