Project Case

12,000 BPH Carbonated Drink Production Line Installation in Eastern Europe

Eastern Europe

This Eastern European project covers the installation of a 12,000 bottles-per-hour carbonated drink production line supplied by HZM. Before placing the order, the customer reviewed several HZM reference projects in the region and evaluated the operating performance of the installed machinery.

The project record follows the line from equipment selection and international delivery through mechanical connection and final commissioning preparation. It demonstrates HZM’s ability to integrate filling and downstream packaging equipment as one coordinated system rather than supply an isolated machine.

Project Requirements

The customer needed a complete PET bottle carbonated beverage line with a nominal output of 12,000 BPH. Because carbonated product is sensitive to temperature and pressure, the filling stage needed to work together with stable bottle handling, drying, labeling and final bundle packing.

Reference-site inspection was an important part of the buying decision. Seeing machines in production allowed the customer to assess container flow, package appearance and day-to-day operating stability before confirming the project.

Equipment Supplied

The documented line includes a DXGF32-32-8 carbonated drink filling machine, BOPP labeling machine, bottle dryer, PE film shrink packing machine and conveyor system. These modules cover the path from filling and closing through label application and transport-ready secondary packaging.

  • Isobaric filling equipment for carbonated beverages.
  • BOPP labeling for the selected PET bottle format.
  • Bottle drying before label and packaging operations.
  • Conveyors sized to connect the process stages.
  • PE film shrink packing for finished bottle bundles.

Delivery and Installation Sequence

After approximately two months of shipping and customs-clearance activity, the containers reached the customer. The customer completed the first stage of machine connection with guidance from HZM, reducing the amount of basic positioning work required before the commissioning team arrived.

Final commissioning focuses on alignment, utility verification, control communication, dry running and product trials. Each interface must be checked because a filler can only achieve stable output when the labeler, packer and conveyors accept containers without repeated blockage.

Engineering Value of a Complete-Line Approach

The value of this project lies in line coordination. Bottle pitch, conveyor speed, labeler infeed and packer demand influence the filler even though they are downstream. Designing the equipment as a connected line gives the commissioning team clear responsibility for those interfaces.

The inclusion of a bottle dryer is particularly relevant where moisture can interfere with BOPP label application or shrink-pack appearance. It shows that the specification considered the real package condition instead of only the filler nameplate speed.

What This Project Demonstrates

The project demonstrates a sales and engineering process based on operating references, defined equipment scope and on-site support. HZM supported the customer’s own connection work remotely and planned engineering attendance for the final commissioning stage.

For beverage producers, the main lesson is to evaluate the entire package path. Product conditions, commercial bottles, labels, film, utilities and available floor space should be confirmed before manufacturing so that the delivered line can be tested against saleable output.

For a related configuration, review HZM’s carbonated soft drink filling machine solutions. A project proposal should always be confirmed against the actual product, package, utilities, layout and required output.
